Coca-Cola Co. (KO) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $2.64 billion. The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 57 cents per share. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $9.49 billion. Coke shares have risen roughly 2% since the beginning of the year, while the S&P's 500 index has risen 15%.
